HOW TO USE THE GARDNER-GOODMAN STOPPER

  1. To insert the Gardner- Goodman Stopper, screw the container hand tight into the main. The bag should be entirely within the tube while this is being done.

  2. Push plunger piston down to stop collar.

  3. Inflate bag slowly with ordinary tire pump. (Slow inflation gives bag time to shape up.)

  4. WATCH THE GAUGE.

  5. To remove Stopper from main: Remove vent plug and allow bag to deflate. Slowly pull bag up into container. Unscrew.

ATTENTION: USED BAGS OVER THREE YEARS OLD AND/OR UNUSED 4 YEAR OLD BAGS, MUST BE RETURNED TO THE FACTORY FOR A FREE SAFETY CHECK AND TESTING. Please call or email for details.

CAUTION: Before using on actual work, set up a test pipe, insert the Stopper and observe under pressure. DO NOT OVERINFLATE BAG. DO NOT LEAVE BAG EXPOSED IN SUN. DO NOT KEEP BAG IN CONTAINER TUBE WHEN NOT BEING USED.

WARNING: Bags for replacement can be furnished.  Gas Main Line Pressure must NOT exceed 12 in. W.C.
ALWAYS use two stoppers in series with a vent pipe between them.
